Taylor Centers

Taylor Centers Music - Openmic.USMy name is Taylor Centers, South Florida born & Carolina raised. I’m a senior in high school and music is my passion. It became my main focus over two years ago, when I started playing piano and writing my own songs. Some of my earlier musical influences were Justin Timberlake, Timberland and Britney Spears, but I am now also inspired by the talents of Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, and Joss Stone.

I have a lot going on right now and I have been writing like CRAZY. My first recorded originals, “Alibi,” "Say It Like You Mean It,” and "So I'll Dance" are available now on iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify to name a few. All are getting amazing reviews from fans and critics alike. As a result, I was selected by Rob Daily of www.Dailyunsigned.com as a “New Music Discovery”; and subsequently, “Alibi” was included on Aha Radio! Also, I am very excited about my newest original, "Wild" that I completed in the studio. I hope to have my first EP ready for release in early 2015. Furthermore, the Internet radio station/music Blog Jamminjukebox.com has selected me as a featured artist for the month of March.
I am also very excited about radio air time and support for my music on The Rendezvous Show (TRS247.com) and Eternalnightradio.com. "Alibi" has an amazing professionally produced video on www.youtube.com, which recently had exposure and a blog placement at Spotonmagazine.com. And more coolness, "Alibi" and "Wild" have been receiving airtime on our local Charlotte iHeart radio station 106.5 The End. And last, but certainly not least, Cltplus magazine www.cltplus.com has also shown me a lot of love and support featuring me in two online interview sessions over the last few months.
My focus now is on continuing to write and performing my music in front of people where ever I can. As such, I am very excited and honored to have been chosen to perform at the Driven Music Conferences in Ft. Lauderdale and Midatlantic Music Conference/NoDa Music Fest in July & October of this year!
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy performing it. Keep an eye out for me as a featured artist on Reverbnation during Thanksgiving week in November.
